Tools and Materials:
Take 2 squares of the appropriate color 3,5 and 3 cm large for the basis of a magnet.
A flower with 6 petals.
For a flower choose strips of two colors 15 cm length. Glue them together.
If you need shorter strips, it’s better not to cut with scissors but tear them with hands instead.
The strips will glue better this way.
Roll the glued strips with the “Slotted tool”. If you don’t have such a tool, you can use a toothpick.
Prepared roll should be unrolled on the Circle size ruler. The ruler allows to make rolls of the equal size.
Glue, the ends of the strips keeping the size of the rolls.
Form in the shape of a “drop”, then make the arrow shape.
We need 6 such petals for the flower.
Make a tough roll from a yellow strip and glue the end.
Make a roll from a green strip, leave it until it will unroll freely and glue an end.
Then form in the shape of a leaf. In quilling this element is named as “Marquise”.
You can make a twig from a small strip, slightly curling an end.
Start to glue from the center of the flower.
Then glue the petals and then the leaf and the twig.
